LegalEdge collaborates with IDIA to empower marginalised sections of society via quality education

New Delhi: Underlining its commitment to delivering quality education and opportunities to students from marginalised sections of society, LegalEdge by Toprankers has strategically collaborated with Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA).

IDIA is a renowned NGO committed to supporting CLAT aspirants from the EWS category by offering them teaching, financial and mentoring support. Recognising the significance of nurturing talent and enabling access to legal education across diverse sections of society, Toprankers’ LegalEdge has proudly collaborated with IDIA since 2019.

Over the years, LegalEdge has successfully trained numerous students for free and is devoted to continuing this support in the future. As part of the ongoing association, LegalEdge is enrolling 37 IDIA trainees for CLAT 2024 training, with 19 students opting for offline classes in cities including Bhopal, Raipur, Gurugram, Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu, Patna, Delhi, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.

Additionally, 18 students have preferred online coaching, illustrating LegalEdge’s prominence in delivering flexible learning options as per students’ specific requirements.

Besides collaborating with IDIA, LegalEdge boasts numerous projects for students from low socio-economic backgrounds. The LegalEdge Udaan EWS Scheme in this regard offers a significant discount of 70-80% on courses to students who furnish the required documentation for EWS status. This initiative assures that deserving students can benefit from quality education without financial restraints.

Detailing more about the noble initiative, Mr Gaurav Goel, CEO and Co-Founder of Toprankers said, “We are delighted to partner with IDIA, to combine our endeavours and empower EWS students to embark on a rewarding career journey. At LegalEdge, we aim to deliver uniform opportunities and bridge the educational gap, ensuring that meritorious students from all backgrounds can excel in the legal profession and this collaboration is a testament to that.”

LegalEdge also runs the Super 30 Batch, a unique program created to enhance the performance of both LegalEdge and non-LegalEdge students. The program incorporates specialised classes, mentoring sessions and much more and involves three selection tests including interviews for an entry.
