AMU research scholar gets award

Aligarh: Mrs Husna Siddiqi, pursuing PhD under the supervision of Prof Shamsul Hayat (Department of Botany), Aligarh Muslim University has received “Late Dr Sumati and Mr Vasudev Bhide” award from Indian Women Scientists’ Association (WSA).

The award carrying a cash prize of Rs 30,000, was given at IWSA headquarter, Vashi, Navi Mumbai recently. Prof Sughra Chunawala, Dean, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education distributed the awards and IWSA president Dr Lalitha Dhareshwar congratulated the winners.
