21-Day Mathematics Workshop Commences at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur
The Central University of Tamil Nadu’s Department of Mathematics is conducting a workshop, “Summer School in Mathematics in Memory of Srinivasa Ramanujan”.
This 21 Day workshop aims to foster mathematical excellence among second and third-year undergraduate students from across the country and seeks to commemorate the extraordinary contributions of the renowned mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The Summer School in Mathematics was inaugurated by the esteemed Vice Chancellor of CUTN Prof M Krishnan. Renowned mathematicians and experts in the field have been invited to deliver insightful sessions and engage in interactive discussions.
The workshop offers an extensive program covering various areas of mathematics, including lectures on logic, algebra, and analysis, providing participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills.
40 Participants from states like Assam, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are part of this workshop, who were chosen based on their merit.
