University Of Massachusetts Amherst Expert Wins Polka Association Award For Seventh Time
Todd Zaganiacz, campus services, was awarded the IJ/DJ of the Year Award over Memorial Day Weekend at the USPA (United States Polka Association) Annual Convention & Awards Banquet.
Todd has been at UMass for nine years. He is a DJ and president of the Polka Jammer Network (an internet 24/7 website featuring Polish Music) where he hosts several shows (The Polka Night Cap/That 70’s Show & That 80’s Show). Todd also has a weekly four-hour (8 a.m. to noon) show, The Polka Carousel, broadcast on Sundays from the WHMP Studios in Northampton.
This is the seventh time in the last 10 years that the South Deerfield resident has won this award. When he is not busy working at UMass, DJ’ing his shows, or running the Internet Network, he enjoys participating in car shows (with his Shelby Mustang) as well as serving as a car show judge.
