RWTH To Host “Schüler*innenuni” Taster Events
RWTH invites school pupils to attend its “Schüler*innenuni”, a university taster event for school students, between June 26 and August 4. Middle and high school students can get a taste of the University for five days with this free offering. Participants attend workshops and mock lectures, conduct experiments, and visit different institutes. In the process, they will get to know the University and receive help with whether or what to study.
For grade 11 to13 students, there are still a few spots available in computer science, civil and environmental engineering, STEM teacher training, engineering (developing sustainable technologies for the future), and physics. Female school students can still register for the Engineering for Female School Students course. The physics course will also be broadcast online.
In addition, girls aged 12 to 14 meet at “MINT & Fit” and get to try out three different sports in addition to attending daily workshops.
