SPJIMR’s TPO Summit 2023 Facilitates Insights and Collaboration on Campus Recruitment Trends
Mumbai – SPJIMR successfully hosted The TPO Summit 2023 (Mumbai Edition) on June 30, 2023. The event brought together a distinguished group of training and placement officers from engineering and non-engineering institutes across Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and various parts of Maharashtra to discuss the Changing Trends of Campus Recruitment in India. The summit featured distinguished keynote and panellists who shared their insights and expertise on emerging trends, best practices, and challenges facing campus recruitment in India.
Dr Sujatha Sudheendra, Head HR & Admin, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd and Head Diversity & Inclusion, Aditya Birla Capital, shared insights on the ‘Innovative Recruitment Strategies for a Changing Talent Landscape’. Dr Sudheendra said, “I appreciate the initiative of hosting The TPO Summit by SPJIMR, which demonstrated progressive thinking. It reiterated how campuses and institutions are embracing future employees to create a great customer-centric organisation.”
Mr. Bhishm Chugani, Director, Career Services, SPJIMR, moderated a panel discussion on “Changing Trends of Campus Recruitment in India.” Eminent panellists from the industry, including Suchit Shome (DBS Bank), Beena Jacob (DHL Supply Chain), Atulaya Goswami (General Mills), Shweta Srivastava (SHL), Arpita Vyas (Fractal), and Daya Sajnani (SPJIMR), explored emerging trends, best practices, student mindset, attrition rate, employee retention, and challenges faced by the industry.
“The TPO Summit brought together two important stakeholders in the life of a student, i.e. HR and the training and placement officer, to deliberate upon the idea of how placements are not just a first job out of campus but also a very important pathway of a student’s life and career going forward.
