Chandigarh College of Education, CGC Landran, celebrates National Science Day 2020!

Chandigarh: An Inter-College Competition was organized by Chandigarh College of Education, CGC Landran, to mark the Celebration of National Science Day-2020 in Punjab. The event was supported by Punjab State Council for Science & Technology and NCSTC, Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi. Around 150 students from various colleges of Punjab and Chandigarh participated in the events including power point presentation, on the spot making of working science models, skill in teaching, on the spot T shirt painting competition, and creating paper bags.
Dr. Sanjay Kaushik, Honorary Dir., ICSSR NWRC, Prof. UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest and Dr. Kulbir Bath, Principal Scientific Officer, PSCST, Chandigarh was the guest of honor at the event. The participants showed full zeal and enthusiasm and the main purpose of the event was to develop scientific temper among the young students. Students also enacted a skit themed on the importance of Science. The winners were awarded with trophies. The Management of CGC congratulated all the winners and encouraged the participants to show their talent and skills by participating in such events.
