Plantation Drive at Aftab Hall #G20

Aligarh : Under the G-20 activities and Jan Bhagidari initiative a plantation drive was organised at the premises of Aftab Hall, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan, Finance Officer, Prof. Mohd Wasim Ali, Proctor, Prof. Zaki Anwar Siddiqui, MIC (Lands and Gardens), Prof. Mohd Khalid, Chairman, Department of Radiodiagnosis, Prof. Adeeb Alam Khan, Chairman, Central Purchase Committee, Prof. Shakeel Ahmad, MIC, Properties & Waqfs, Prof. Arshad Umar, Principal, University Polytechnic (Boys), Prof. Vibha Sharma, Officiating DSW, Mr. Faisal Nafis, Principal, S.T.S. School, Dr. Ehtesham Ahmad, CMO Incharge, Dr. Mohd Kafi, Incharge, Civil Section and Dr. Kaleem Afroz Zaidi, Deputy DSW took part in the plantation drive.

The coordinator of the programme Dr. Salman Khalil, Provost, Aftab Hall welcomed all the guests. “Trees are an integral part of the environment and play a vital role in the well being of humans. It is the responsibility of every individual on this planet to plant more trees”, he said.

The wardens of the Hall, Dr. Salman Shah, Dr. Jakir Hushain, Dr. Mohd Sohrab Khan, Dr. Mamoon Rasheed, Mr. Syed Mohd Talha and Mr. Rashid Imran Ahmad Khan also participated in the programme.
