New Dean in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences

ALIGARH : Prof Akram Ahmad Khan, Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed as Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences for a period of two years, with effect from July 14, 2023.

The research areas of Prof Akram’s interest include development economics, issues in agriculture and economic development, Agricultural Biotechnology, food security, agricultural trade and the WTO, etc.

He has three books to his credit, including the “Structure of Property Tax in India”, “Gene Revolution and Food Security in India” and “Energy Management and Inclusive Growth”, and has published more than 30 research papers in books, journals and magazines of national and international repute.
