450 students from Aakash Educational Services Limited qualify for KVPY Fellowship Award 2019-20
New Delhi: A record 450 students from Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), the national leader in test preparatory services, have qualified for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship Award 2019-20. Out of the 450 students, an impressive 385 are from the Classroom programme only.
Students who have qualified for the KVPY Fellowship Award 2019-20 are from the following programs offered by AESL:

Aakash I Tutor – 8
KVPY aptitude test helps to identify students with exceptional research skills and encourages them to take up a career in scientific research.

Students studying in Class XI to 1st year of any undergraduate program in basic sciences with an aptitude for scientific research are eligible for KVPY. Special groups and committees are set up at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to screen the applications and conduct an aptitude test at various centres in the country. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure.
The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
