UC opens the New Las Condes headquarters
Having started the work and classes of the postgraduate and continuing education programs of the School of Administration, within them the MBA UC, the Nueva Las Condes headquarters of the School of Administration UC, of 3,500 square meters, was officially inaugurated this Tuesday August 1.
Twelve classrooms with a flexible format , six of which are equipped to teach hybrid classes . To which are added eleven study rooms, a cowork for students and another for officials, a lounge for teachers and an outdoor terrace, as well as other meeting and networking spaces for teachers and students.
These are the main characteristics of the Nuevas Las Condes headquarters of the UC School of Administration , a space focused on technology and collaborative work, and which implies the end of the design and construction process that began in 2021.
Thus, this new space, which houses the master’s degrees, diplomas, and continuing education courses of the School of Administration, including the UC MBA and interdisciplinary master’s degrees taught jointly with other UC Faculties, as well as some centers and initiatives, was inaugurated. officially this August 1, with the participation of authorities from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and leaders of companies and organizations that have accompanied the development of the UC School of Administration.
In the first instance, the rector Ignacio Sánchez, emphasized that “this growth and progress in infrastructure that the School of Administration has had is a reflection of the development and leadership that it has in various aspects of society. Its programs have trained hundreds of professionals that today affect our society and public policies. Regarding the new space, which is located at the intersection of Rosario Norte and Cerro El Plomo streets, the director of the School of Administration, José Tessada, explained that “this venue is part of a broader academic project, where research , the understanding of a globalized and changing world, innovation in the learning experience, and the training of socially responsible professionals are complemented by providing tools to respond to the challenges faced by organizations, private, public, and in the social world, in a world that evolves rapidly.” “The conjunction of these formative elements also allows us to give the hallmark of our university and school: the person at the center of decisions. These facilities, together with our public role, then become a tool in our work to inspire future leaders, contributing to a more equitable and sustainable society, with the UC seal present in development and growth decisions,” he added.

For his part, the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration UC, José Miguel Sánchez, also celebrated the transfer of the programs of the School of Administration to the Nueva Las Condes campus, adding that “with this and other actions we continue to demonstrate that the training professionals with a deep commitment to society are an integral part of our hallmark. The Nueva Las Condes campus, through the training of excellence that, as a School and Faculty, we deliver, renews the invitation to all those who seek to become leaders in their areas, with a responsible vision and commitment to building a better future. ” .
During the tour, the authorities were able to see part of the headquarters facilities, which has twelve classrooms with a flexible format, eleven study rooms, a co-work for students and another for officials, a lounge for teachers and an outdoor terrace free, as well as other meeting and networking spaces for teachers and students.
