Meeting for WCICH-2024 held
Aligarh : The Department of Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji Tib, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, hosted a press meet and consultative meeting in anticipation of the prestigious World Congress on Integrated Community Health (WCICH 2024). The event, set to witness participation from experts and delegates representing USA, UK, Iran, China, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and India, aims to integrate diverse medical systems worldwide, fostering the advancement of global community health.
Prof. SM Safdar Ashraf, Chairman of the Department, welcomed the newly appointed Dean of Faculty of Unani Medicine, Prof. Ubaidullah Khan, during the deliberations on event preparation. Stressing the congress’s significance, Prof. Ubaidullah Khan and Principal Prof. B.D. Khan highlighted the opportunity it provides for promoting international cooperation in the field of community medicine.
Faculty members from various departments, including Prof. FS Sherani, Prof. Amena Naaz, Prof. Zameer Ahmad, Prof. Mohd. Anwar, Dr. Abdur Rauf, Prof. Ferasat Ali, and Prof. Ruby Anjum, shared their insights during the meeting.
The organizing committee members, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan, Dr. Ammar Ibne Anwar as the convenor, and Dr. Atiya Anjum, also contributed to the discussions. PG Scholars Dr. Ayesha Parveen, Dr. Lovely Singh, Dr. Anam Athar, Dr. Mohd. Junaid, and Dr. Anam Kamal facilitated the proceedings.
