Prof Moied inaugurates CMEs at Bhimtal and Prayagraj

ALIGARH : Prof S Moied Ahmed, Dept of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University inaugurated two CMEs held at Bhim Tal, Uttarakhand and at MLN Medical College, Prayagraj, organized by the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) Bareilly City Branch and Prayagraj City branch, respectively. He inaugurated the CMEs as the President, ISA.

In his presidential remarks, Prof Ahmed stated that learning is a continuous process and CME is an integral part of learning for medical professionals. He said the ISA encourages such CMEs to engage practising anaesthesiologists and young resident doctors and provide them with an opportunity to get acquainted with the new developments in their fields.

The participants learnt the practical aspect of learning with the help of manikins or dummies, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Medical Council.

Prof Ahmed also delivered lectures on ‘Recent Advances on Airway Management’ and ‘Role of Ventilator Graphics in Mechanical Ventilation’ at the CMEs.
