JN Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) started a helpline number for patients

Aligarh: In order to ameliorate the sufferings of the patients, the department of cardiology, JN Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has started a helpline number, 7599050505, for people who may face cardiac problems during the ongoing countrywide lockdown.

“Patients can make brief calls or send WhatsApp messages on the helpline number. The calls will be attended by the doctors of the department and the patients will be duly attended,” said Prof M U Rabbani (Chairman, Department of Cardiology).

Meanwhile, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has also started helpline numbers, 9719287391 and 9887430520 for the next three weeks to answer the queries of patients.

“Doctors of the department will attend the calls of obstetrics patients during the day time on the helpline numbers,” said Prof Tamkin Khan (Chairperson, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology).

She urged the patients to make short calls and in urgent cases only.
