Swinburne University of Technology appoints Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education, Experience and Employability
Respected education leader Professor Laura-Anne Bull has been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education, Experience and Employability at Swinburne University of Technology.
Professor Bull joins Swinburne from the University of Newcastle, where she is currently Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Experience and Academic Registrar.
She has also held senior leadership roles at the Australian National University, the University of South Australia and James Cook University.
Announcing the appointment Swinburne Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Pascale Quester said, “Professor Bull is a champion for the student experience. Her experience will ensure Swinburne continues to be a university where students are front and centre in our decision making.”
“She will use her passion for work-integrated learning and increasing employability to ensure we continue delivering on our Horizon 2025 moon shots; every Swinburne learner gets a work experience, and every Swinburne graduate gets a job.”
Professor Bull will commence in November and work alongside Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education, Experience and Employability Professor Pip Pattison to ensure a smooth transition.
