Eindhoven University of Technology: 2,550 students launch joint introductory week for bachelor and master programs
On Monday August 21, rector magnificus Silvia Lenaerts kicked off this year’s introduction week for new students at TU Eindhoven. In the coming days, first-year students can indulge themselves in a full and varied program, that includes not only parties, but also information about all that TU/e and Eindhoven has to offer. Unlike last year, bachelor and master students will experience the intro together.

A total of 2,200 bachelor students and 350 master students are expected to attend the 2023 introduction week on campus. Among the activities planned for the students are workshops, a campus market, and a city walk. On Wednesday, there is a culture festival with live performances and other shows. Also new is camping for 300 people on campus, for which there is much enthusiasm.
Optimal
The activities are designed to introduce students to education, but also to sports, cultural, and political student associations which they can join if they wish. This makes students feel welcome, and provides them with an opportunity to learn what facilities and support services are available so that students can study optimally.
This year TU/e also offers a parallel program for students who do not like partying, and want to take it a little easier.
