Dept. of Health & Family Welfare and Dept. of Health Research Undertake Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachhata Drive

The Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachhata Drive is going on in full swing in the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the Department of Health Research. The objectives of the campaign are to minimize pendency, institutionalize swachhata, strengthen internal monitoring mechanism, train officers in records management, digitize physical records for improved records management and to bring all Ministries/Departments on one single digital platform: www.pgportal.gov.in/scdpm.

Under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and its Attached Offices, Subordinate Offices, Autonomous Bodies and Central Public Sector Enterprise, along with AIIMS, institute of national importance etc, actively participated in the campaign during December, 2022 to August, 2023.

During aforesaid period, 9,213 physical files were reviewed and 4,750 files were weeded out, 25,846 Public Grievances and Appeals were redressed, 1,051 Cleanliness Campaigns were conducted, 27,162 sq. ft. space had been freed and Rs.25,69,693/- revenue had been generated by selling scrap disposal.

The Department of Health Research and ICMR also implemented the Special Campaign 2.0 in full earnest. During the period of December 2022 to August 2023, there was 100% disposal of Parliamentary Assurances, Inter-Ministerial Consultations, PMO References and PG Appeals. The disposal rate in MP References was 67%. Besides this, 177 physical files were also weeded out.
