Monash University: 360info Partners with Sustainable Development Solutions Network
Independent digital news wire 360info has signed a new partnership with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to build and strengthen global understanding of practical solutions for sustainable development, including the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDSN is a global initiative that promotes the implementation of the SDGs through education, research, policy analysis, and global cooperation.
As part of their new joint initiative, the two organisations have collaborated to produce a solutions-focused special report on removing obstacles to implementing the SDGs in the Indo Pacific region. It comprises feature articles, videos and data visualisations by leading experts across the SDSN.
Launched by Monash 2021, 360info operates as an information resource that is informed by university research, for newsrooms, publishers, broadcasters, schools and civic society outlets.
“Monash’s partnership with 360info reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to public interest journalism and the transformative potential of university-led research,” said Monash University Acting Provost and Senior Vice-President, Professor Sharon Pickering.
