World Patient Safety Day observed

ALIGARH  : The Aligarh Chapter of Hospital Infection Society (HISI) organized a poster-making competition at JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim Univeristy to mark the World Patient Safety Day, on the theme, “engaging patients”. The event was aimed at involving patients in infection control, including antimicrobial stewardship, to ensure their safety.

The Secretary, HISI Aligarh Chapter, Dr. Fatima Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, informed that Aryan Pratap Singh, Nandini Sharma and Areeba Haneef were declared winners and were felicitated with cash prizes. All participants were given the certificates of participation.

She said that the posters were displayed at the reception hall of the JN Medical College Hospital.

Dr. Nazish Fatima, Chairman, Department of Microbiology, Prof. Farha Azmi, Principal, Nursing College and Mrs. Hooma Ruhi, Assistant Nursing Superintendent and Mrs Shahana Parween judged the competition.
