Mushaira at Kennedy Auditorium on September 23

ALIGARH : A galaxy of popular Urdu and Hindi poets will gather at the Kennedy Auditorium of the Aligarh Muslim University on September 23, 2023 at 7 pm at a Mushaira (a poetic evening) organized by the Alumni Affairs Committee, AMU, in association with the Vertex Events Dubai.

The Convener, Prof M.M. Sufyan Beg informed that AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez will be the chief guest, while the noted writer and filmmaker, Padma Shri Muzaffar Ali will preside over the Mushaira. Mr Pushkin Agha is the Co-convener.

Prof Beg said that the poets who have given their consent to participate in the event include Azhar Inayati, Iqbal Ashhar, Mehshar Afridi, Shakeel Azmi, Azm Shakiri, Azhar Iqbal, Nadeem Farrukh, Akhilesh Mishra, Paplu Lakhnavi, Am Turaz and Khushboo Sharma.
