AISECT Group to organise Kaushal Vikas Yatra from 18th September – 15th October
AISECT Group, India’s leading social enterprise, is organising Kaushal Vikas Yatra from 18th September – 15th October with the aim of creating awareness about the New Education Policy 2020 and career counselling among the students. The importance of skill development will also be explained to the students and all their queries will be addressed along with providing career guidance.
Beginning from September 18, this Yatra will cover 300 districts across 22 states and 3 Union Territories where students will be introduced to the courses that are being run under AISECT-NSDC partnership and the courses available at AISECT Group of Universities. Along with this they will also be made aware about various schemes that are functioning under Kaushal Vikas Yatra such as NULM, NSQF, Microsoft Rise and the new activities that are undertaken by AISECT Group – Banking, Online toll pay service, AISECT Learn online free courses, Rojgarmantra portal.
On the inaugural of AISECT Kaushal Vikas Yatra, Siddharth Chaturvedi Director at AISECT Group says, “Through these Yatra AISECT group aims to educate the youth of our country about importance of inculcating skill-based oriented curriculum in our studies. In the coming years, Kaushal Vikas will play a key role in our country’s development and a person proficient in skilling will have a better chance at employment”.
A seminar will be held for this Kaushal Yatra which will have participation from students, job seekers, educationists and they will be given detailed information about the employment-oriented programs run by AISECT-NSDC. Post the Kaushal Yatra, on-the-spot counselling will be organized at all AISECT centers for students from other cities for the next two-three days.
For many years, AISECT has been undertaking unique initiatives to help the youth understand the importance of skill development through Kaushal Vikas Yatra, which has also been rewarded by national and international agencies. It is noteworthy that under the recent agreement between AISECT and NSDC, admission for various computer related courses have also been started. More than 250 diplomas and certificate courses have been included in this. AISECT Group is the preferred nodal institution by NSDC.
