ADR JN Medical College observers National Pharmacovigilance Week

 

Aligarh : ADR Monitoring Centre (AMC), JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is celebrating the 3rd “National Pharmacovigilance Week” from with the theme “Boosting Public Confidence in Pharmacovigilance” as per the directives of PvPI, IPC, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Prof. Veena Maheshwari, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Inaugurated the programme. Prof. Haris M Khan, Principle, JNMCH and Prof. RK Tiwari, Principal Z.A. Dental College, Were also present on this occasion.

AMC Programme Coordinator Prof. Farida Ahmad briefed about the progress of ADR Reporting and other academic and outreach activities related to pharmacovigilance.

In this week sensitization/awareness programme of the resident doctors, paramedical staff, faculty members and patients/Consumers will be carried out in different OPDs as well as outreach activities will be done including sensitization of the students in different schools of AMU like the AMU School for the Visually Challenged and the students of the AMU Girls School.
