Celebration of Chandrayaan-3
ALIGARH : The Aligarh Muslim University Girls’ School organized short skits and sketches under the celebratory programme organized in the university to mark the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the southern pole of the Moon.
Mrs Amna Malik, Principal of the school, said that the main objective of the programme was to create awareness among students regarding ambitious and successful lunar missions.
In the sketch competition for Class-IX to XII level, the participants worked on topics like India on the moon, New India on the moon, Moon is not far away, Lunar journey of new India, etc.
Vanshika Kashyap won the first prize while Hira Raza and Ashna Adil won the second and third prizes respectively. Miley Nisha was given the consolation prize.
In the Short Skit Competition held for the students of Class VIII to X,
Anshu and Group won the first prize, while Khushi and Group and Zunaira and Group got the second and third prizes respectively.
