13th Indian Management Conclave (IMC) 2023; AICTE Chairman Dr Sitharam T.G releases Whitepaper on “NEP 2020: Pathways for Standalone B-Schools”

Mumbai: Organised by MBAUniverse.com in partnership with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), 13th Indian Management Conclave (IMC) 2023 was held successfully on October 13-14, 2023 at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus. IMC, India’s biggest annual management education conference, featured thought-provoking discussions and presentations on the theme, “Business Value Creation in the Age of Disruption: Implications for Management Education.”

IMC 2023 brought together a distinguished gathering of industry leaders, policy makers, renowned academicians, and business professionals to delve into the evolving landscape of management education in the digital age. The conference was organized by MBAUniverse.com in partnership with SPJIMR, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering dialogue and innovation in the field of management education.

A significant highlight of IMC 2023 was the release of Whitepaper, authored by Mr. Amit Agnihotri, Founder of IMC and MBAUniverse.com, titled “New Education Policy 2020: Pathways for Standalone B-Schools”. Releasing the Whitepaper at the Valedictory Session, Dr Sitharam said, “We recognise the important role of Standalone B-schools, particularly PGDM B-schools. AICTE welcomes the suggestions made by this Whitepaper. We will review the recommendations and utilise them for future MBA and PGDM program policy planning.”

Earlier, the event commenced with an inaugural session that featured keynote addresses by prominent figures in the business world. Mr. Harsh Mariwala, Chairman of Marico Limited, delivered an impactful keynote on the changing landscape of business value creation, highlighting the strategic initiatives that organisations must undertake to drive sustainable growth. This was followed by an enlightening international keynote address by Dr. Keryn Chalmers, Dean of the School of Business, Law, and Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and President of the Australian Business School Deans Council (ABDC).
