Lotus Petal Foundation Launches “Season of Giving” Campaign this October to Combat Childhood Hunger & address educational gaps
In a concerted effort to make a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children and address the pressing issue of global hunger & education, Gurugram-based, Lotus Petal Foundation, is thrilled to announce the launch of the “Season of Giving” campaign this October. The “Season of Giving” campaign seeks to make a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged children by addressing both nutritional needs and educational gaps. The Foundation has over 12 years of grassroots-level expertise in handling challenges faced by underprivileged children and transforming their lives through education. By recognizing the symbiotic relationship between nutrition and education, the organization aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem that empowers children to break the cycle of poverty in times to come.
Forging a meaningful partnership to collectively address childhood hunger, Lotus Petal Foundation has become a beacon of hope for several supporters & Corporate Partners. In a bid to Donate and support Nutrition, Lotus Petal Foundation has joined hands with Big Basket to cater to every child’s right to food with a novel initiative, where masses can donate a basket of daily essential items like rice, pulses, sugar etc by donating a a basket in the range of 250/- to 1000/- and feed around 10 to 100 students respectively. People can also alternatively donate Rice at the campus through the website.
Over the years leading corporates like Feeding India by Zomato, Big Basket, General Mills, Fidelity International, GTPL, Mobius Foundation etc have partnered with Lotus Petal Foundation for its various programs. “Lotus Petal Foundation is dedicated to fostering positive change, and with the support of our community, we believe we can make a significant difference in the lives of those most in need. The inaugural edition of the ‘DaanUtsav Fest 2023’, a flagship event under Lotus Petal Foundation’s ‘Season of Giving’, saw one-of-a-kind, weeklong celebrations where visitors engaged in fun indoor & outdoor activities with the students, make their wishes come true, serve a meal and much more!!
Lotus Petal Foundation continues to champion the cause of education for the underserved, as the Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School aspires to be India’s biggest Philanthropic School for the underprivileged. Rejoicing in the euphoria of #SharingisCaring, ‘DaanUtsav’ event saw a footfall of 500+ individual supporters, corporate partners & student community from nearby schools took.
