GDC Sidhra Organises Quiz Competition To Observe Vigilance Awareness Week-2023

In continuation of activities organized to commemorate “Vigilance Awareness Week-2023”, Department of Economics in collaboration with NSS Unit of GDC Sidhra under the ageis of IQAC, organized a quiz competition to celebrate “Vigilance Awareness week” with the theme “Say No to Corruption; commit to the Nation” with special focus on engaging the youth towards vigilance awareness to commemorate the birth of Sardar Vallab Bhai Patel. The emphasis was on inculcating the true spirit of participation vigilance and reaffirming the commitment of everyone to uphold the integrity in public governance. A number of students actively participated in the quiz and Zahida Kousar from Sem-3rd stood first, Aasif Farooq from Sem-1st stood second and Manharan Singh from Sem-3rd stood third. The event was organized by Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary, HOD of Economics with active support of Dr. Harpreet Kour, HOD of Political Science and Dr. Satbir Kour, HOD of Punjabi as well as Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, P.O. (NSS). Event was organized under the guidance of Principal of the college, Dr. B.B. Anand.
