Session on Employment Prerequisites and Corporate Expectations Held
Aligarh : The Training & Placement Office (TPO), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with the Centre of Professional Courses (CPC), AMU organized a session on “Dynamic Employment Prerequisites & Corporate Expectations”, at the Department of Commerce, with an aim to enlighten the students about the industry requirements.
Mr. Saad Hameed, Training & Placement Officer (General) as the guest speaker, focused on enlightening and empowering students enrolled in the Post Graduate Diploma programs in Business Management and International Business.
The esteemed gathering included Professor Mohd Asif Khan, Director, CPC, Dr. Zuhaib Ahmad, CPC Coordinator, and CA. Mohd Asim, a Visiting Faculty at CPC.
Mr. Saad Hameed urged the participants to gain proficiency in software tools like MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint, and shared real-life anecdotes to inspire and motivate students toward a growth-oriented mindset and self-discipline.
He also explained the significance of communication skills, both written and oral, and exhorted the students to establish various clubs, forums, and cells, which help in fostering organization skills in line with corporate expectations.
The session concluded with a discussion among Training & Placement Cell members of CPC, focusing on fostering partnerships between the university and industry for the benefit of the students.
