Vigilance Awareness Programmes
Aligarh : Events pertaining to vigilance awareness week were held across departments and units of Aligarh Muslim University.
At the Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Principal Dr Naila Rashid administered the pledge to the staff and the students. An informative video/audio on the Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informer (PIDPI) was played in the Assembly Hall, while Mr Tabrez Ahmed (PGT Hindi) delivered a lecture on the corruption free nation.
Dr. Naila Rashid enlightened the audience about the ways of removing corruption from the nation and day to day lives.
Dr. Md. Alamgir, Principal, administered the oath on Vigilance at AMU City Girls’ High School, while Mrs. Zarreen Naaz explained the preventive measures to stop corruption.
Students participated in an ‘Essay Writing Competition’ and expressed their thoughts on how to eradicate corruption.The Students from I-A & I-B read out poems on ‘Vigilance’.
A Nukkad Natakwas organised by the students of IX-A & IX-B giving a strong message on vigilance and how to get rid of corruption.
Fouzia Shakeel of VII-A and Arpana Bhardwaj of IX-B expressed their views on corruption.
At the Abdullah School, Superintendent, Mrs Umra Zaheer administered the integrity pledge to the teaching and non-teaching staff and urged them to work for a corruption-free India.
Students of the school participated in chart making activity with the theme “say no to curruption”. Students also delivered speeches in English, Hindi and Urdu.
Ms Lubna Imtiaz, Coordinator, Cultural Activities organised the events.
