Industrial Visit for MBA Students

Aligarh : The Department of Business Administration at Aligarh Muslim University Centre in Malappuram, Kerala, organized a one-day industrial visit for MBA final year students to Malabar Trading Company in Elamkulam, Malappuram. This industrial visit was a transformative experience, offering students a comprehensive understanding and valuable insights into the intricate processes of production, management, and corporate responsibility.

The students, under the supervision of faculty members explored three key units of the company: the “Production Unit,” “Central Warehouse,” and “Sales Outlet.” During the visit, they engaged with Mr. Raafi, HR Manager, to gain insights into the company’s operations, including the production processes for event management products, raw material procurement, tool room and assembly, stitching units, inventory management, and sales.

A meeting with HR Executive Ms. Jhishma highlighted the company’s commitment and local employment generation. The Company actively promotes women’s empowerment through a unit staffed entirely by women workers.
