Culmination of 15-Day National Workshop on Marching Bands

 

Aligarh : In a conclusion to a 15-day national workshop on marching bands, the Department of Physical Education showcased the culmination of efforts and dedication on November 20. The workshop, which commenced on November 6, aimed to elevate the skills and knowledge of its 30 participants in the intricate domain of marching bands.

The valedictory session, held on the final day, hosted esteemed guests, with Mr. Saood, a retired Groundman, presiding as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, a lab attendant, receiving honors as the Guest of Honor.

The workshop’s success was attributed to the contributions of program instructors, Mr. Roop Kishor Sharma and Mr. Harsh Dev Sharma, who invested substantial time in training the participants. Miss Shivani Singh presented a comprehensive report on the proceedings, eloquently capturing the essence of the workshop.

Prof. S. Tariq Murtaza, the Director of the workshop and Chairperson of the Department of Physical Education, commended the collective efforts for a successful event. Dr. Mohd Arshad Bari, as the organizing secretary, played an important role, and Dr. Mohd Imran and Mr. Toufiq Ahmad, Convenors of the workshop, ensured meticulous organization and execution.

Miss Shivani Singh and Mr. Arish Azhar were acknowledged for their role in orchestrating the valedictory session, ensuring it became a memorable conclusion to the national workshop on marching bands. Participants left not only with improved skills but also with a deeper understanding of the art, a testament to the dedication of the organizers and instructors involved.

Dr. Merajuddin Faridi extended vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all contributors for their support. The 15-day journey concluded on a high note.
