Rajasthan Delegates’ Cultural Odyssey reached its Zenith with valedictory today
The Yuva Sangam Phase-III program for Rajasthan delegates at IIM Tiruchirappalli culminated in a distinguished visit to Raj Bhavan in Chennai, where the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu graciously hosted an exclusive interaction and luncheon. This marked the pinnacle of the cultural odyssey, with the Governor’s insightful dialogue emphasizing the program’s unwavering commitment to the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign to foster unity and understanding among the diverse youth of Indian states.
The Delegates had the privilege of participating in various engaging activities, further enriching their experience with a visit to Mahabalipuram during their visit to Chennai, a site of historical significance, providing the students with a deeper understanding of the cultural tapestry of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the delegates actively participated in the Fit India Movement Marathon organised at IIM Tiruchirappalli, fostering a sense of well-being and camaraderie along with the IIMT buddies. Also, Conducted competitions for the Rajasthan delegates.
The students also contributed to environmental sustainability through a tree plantation initiative at the IIM Tiruchirappalli campus. This hands-on activity aligned with the Yuva Sangam program’s spirit and emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship.
Venturing beyond the campus, the delegates explored nearby villages, immersing themselves in the local culture and fostering connections with the community. The joy of shopping added a delightful dimension to their cultural exploration, providing a glimpse into the vibrant markets of the host state.
As the Rajasthan delegates prepare for the valedictory ceremony today at IIM Tiruchirappalli, they carry with them the memories of an impactful journey marked by meaningful interactions, cultural exchanges, and a shared commitment to national integration. The ceremony opened with the rendition of Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, Invocation, and lighting of the lamp. The valedictory ceremony of Yuva Sangam Phase-III was presided over by Dr. M Selvam, Vice Chancellor of Bharathidasan University, who graciously graced the occasion, adding a distinguished note to the program’s culmination. During this significant event, prizes were distributed to the competition winners, and the delegates were felicitated with a memento.
This concluding chapter in their collective journey epitomizes the essential spirit of unity and connection that the program earnestly seeks to cultivate among the youth of India. The event concluded with the National Anthem following the Vote of Thanks.
