Investiture Ceremony Marks Leadership Transition at STS School
Aligarh : The Syedna Tahir Saifuddin School (Minto Circle), Aligarh Muslim University held its annual Investiture Ceremony today at the Assembly Ground, continuing its rich tradition of fostering leadership and responsibility among students. The ceremony, conducted with fervor, saw the investiture of various responsibilities to the newly appointed post holders of the school and its houses.
Mr. Faisal Nafis, the Principal of S.T.S. School, welcomed the Chief Guest, Mr. Omar S Peerzada, the Public Relation Officer of AMU. In his opening address, Mr. Nafis emphasized the school’s longstanding legacy of the House System and congratulated the newly appointed post holders. He urged them to be role models, upholding the values and traditions of the school with honesty and integrity.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Peerzada, administered the oath to the post holders who pledged to abide by the rules and regulations of the school. The Principal, along with the Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy, received the ‘School Flag,’ while House In-Charges, House Masters, and post holders were conferred with flags, badges, and sashes of their respective houses.
Reflecting on the ideals of Sir Syed, the Chief Guest underscored the importance of honesty, integrity, large-hearted tolerance, and a spirit of inquiry.
Ms. Nasreen Fatima, the Cultural Coordinator, paid a Vote of Thanks. The stage was shared by Mr. Mohd Tariq (Vice-Principal), Mrs. Samina Yusuf Khan (Incharge Primary Section), and Dr. Tanweer Husain Khan. Thethe role of Mr. Mohd Adnan Khan, Mr. Farhan Habib, Mr. Mohammad Asim, Mr. Mudassir Ali Rizvi, and Dr. Zeeshan Haider in the smooth conduction of the program was acknowledged. Mrs. Alema Haseen conducted the proceedings.
