FLO New year Celebrations with Padma Shree Malini Awasthi January 6, 2024, from 4:30 pm
New Delhi:Famous Folk singer Padam Shri Malini Awasthi spread the colours of religion and culture mesmerized all with her melodious folk songs full of devotion and culture at a new year celebration function jointly organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) the apex body of business women in the country and Prabha Khaitan Foundation , an NGO promoting culture and art.
Folk Singer Malini Awasthi presented beautiful songs on the birth of Lord Shri Ram – Lalnawa was born today in the house of King Dashrath ji. The attraction of the program increased when Malini Awasthi came down from the stage and went among the audience, the audience also started dancing while sitting. Many people could not control themselves and were seen dancing along with Malini’s performance. Malini Awasthi presented songs full of devotion and culture.
“Culture flows through many generations and is reflected in songs, rituals, expressions, symbols, signs and festivals. Hence they should not only rejoice, but try to learn and preserve their culture. Folk songs are the biggest carrier of culture and the culture has been greatly preserved by women of the house through folk songs. It would not be wrong to say that the mainstream traditions of culture have flowed most through women,” said Malini Awasthi while speaking on the occasion.
