AMU medical student shines

ALIGARH: Dr Madhav Chowdhry, a Junior Resident-III in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has secured All India Rank-I in National Torrent Young Scholar Competition-2023 held recently in Ahmedabad.

He won the best orator prize for debate and was later declared the overall winner of the competition after the final round held on January 7, which comprised quiz competition, rapid fire buzzer round, journal quiz, clinical case competition debate and viva voce. A total of 12 candidates participated in the final round.

Prof Abdul Qayyum Khan, Chairman, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, along with other teachers and students congratulated Dr Chowdhry on the achievement.
