KL Deemed to be University CSE Honors Student Wins Coveted Title Royal Mr. India
Hyderabad : Mr. K. Varun Chowdhary, a talented second-year student from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE-Honors) Department at KL Deemed to be University, has brought immense pride and honour to the institution by emerging as the winner in the prestigious “Royal Mr. India” competition. This feat was achieved at the competition held in Jaipur, Rajasthan recently, organized by the esteemed Royal Production House.
The “Royal Mr. India” competition witnessed the participation of 90 outstanding individuals from across the country, with each finalist representing a different state, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. Mr. Varun Chowdhary not only secured a place among the 12 finalists but also went on to claim the highly coveted title of “Royal Mr. India.”
The competition was a rigorous test of the participants’ skills and capabilities, with multiple rounds to showcase their talents. Mr. Varun Chowdhary’s remarkable journey to victory included a stunning combined act of Martial Arts and Singing during the Talent round, where he left the judges and the audience in awe.
Varun is also a Zonal-level martial artist, having earned the Bronze for Andhra in the South Zone and securing the Gold in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, he is a state-level debate champion and a winner of the district-level declamation contest, proudly represented Andhra Pradesh at the Youth Festival in Nasik.

Varun is a self-learner who adeptly balances his academics and co-curricular activities. He aspires to become a successful entrepreneur and is diligently working to learn web and app development through his coursework in the University. To realize his entrepreneurial ambitions in e-commerce, he is currently in the process of developing a web-based application and continuously working on various projects under the supervision of his professors and HoD of the department.
