Standard Chartered Cup 2023 comes to a thrilling finish with LTIMindtree lifting the coveted trophy
Mumbai: The final leg of the Standard Chartered Cup 2023 successfully concluded on Sunday, 18 February at Cooperage Football Ground in Mumbai. This edition witnessed a total of 71 teams across 7 cities participating in the annual 5-a-side corporate football tournament.
The grand finale saw the LTIMindtree team from Kolkata emerge as the tournament’s champion in a nail-biting match against the American Express team from Delhi, with the final score at 3-2. The winning team will visit Anfield, the iconic home of Liverpool Football Club and have the privilege of soaking in the electrifying atmosphere of a live match.
The SC Trophy 2023 cup was unveiled by Ngangom Bala Devi, former captain of the Indian women’s national football team, along with Nitin Chengappa, Managing Director, Affluent and Deposit, Standard Chartered Bank, India and Rajneesh Verma, Head Affluent Acquisitions, Standard Chartered Bank, India.
