SBI Donates two digital podiums to AMU Schools

 

Aligarh : The State Bank of India, Aligarh Muslim University branch donated two digital podiums, one each to the AMU City Girls’ High School and Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohd. Mohsin Khan, Finance Officer AMU as the chief Guest, Prof. Asfar Ali Khan, Director, School Education, AMU, Prof. Abid Ali Khan, Deputy Director, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Chief Manager Regional Office, SBI Aligarh, Mrs. Ranjana Shukla, Chief Manager and Mr. Farrukh Shamim, Chief Manager, SBI AMU Branch as the Guests of Honour.

At AMU City Girls’ High School, the Principal Dr. Md. Alamgir welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude. He said the digital podium in the school will be of great utility in the teaching-learning process.

Mr. Sanjay Singh said SBI has a long history of association and collaboration with AMU. He promised to help the AMU schools and the fraternity in their future endeavours.

Prof. Asfar Ali Khan thanked the entire bank officials for their valuable donation and stressed the need to help the girl students in their academic and technological upliftment.

Prof. Mohd. Mohsin Khan said that the Directorate of Education at AMU is the greatest source of promoting academic excellence at AMU schools.

The Vice Principal Mr. Javed Akhtar proposed a vote of thanks.

At the Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Principal, Dr. Naila Rashid welcomed the dignitaries and expressed his gratitude for the valuable donation.

The school students presented a welcome song, performed yoga dance and handed over handmade cards, balloons, flowers and gifts as a mark of extending thanks to the guests.
