AMU student selected as one of the 50 Exceptional Alumni of American Councils

ALIGARH  : Princi Bhardwaj, a 3rd year law student of Aligarh Muslim University has been selected by the American Council to feature among the 50 extraordinary alumni from a network of over one lakh alumni across the world. Princi became a part of the English Access Micro Scholarship Program of the American Council in 2016 and graduated from this program in 2018. Through this program, she participated in many programs organized by the American Council in 2017-18 and 2023.

In 2017, Princi was selected as one of the 60 participants from India and Afghanistan to attend a camp in Pune. Later, in 2018, she was selected to work as a counselor in another camp organized in Pune. In 2023, she was selected to work as a mentor at the All India Access Alumni Community Service Workshop in Mysore. Now, in recognition of her contribution, she has been selected under the 50 Alumni for 50 Years initiative of American Councils, spotlighting outstanding participants from its expansive portfolio of 250 administered programs spanning five decades in 148 countries. The initiative is launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of American Councils.

Prof Mohd. Zafar Mahfooz Nomani, Dean, Faculty of Law, AMU, commended Princi for her notable accomplishment, expressing pride for Aligarh Muslim University. He extended best wishes for her future endeavors and urged continued contributions to the organization’s mission and community welfare.
