Dr. Antoinette Cameron-Pimblett and Dr. Sintieh Ekongefeyin Join London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE) at King’s College London
As Research Translation and Innovation Manager at LIHE, Dr Cameron-Pimblett facilitates the clinical translation of cutting-edge medical technologies.
Dr Cameron-Pimblett brings over ten years of experience working within women’s health, predominately within the NHS, and has spent the previous three years working in various innovation roles within MedTech start-ups such as Open Medical and Hertility.
I am thrilled to embark on a journey dedicated to bridging the gap between pioneering research and real-world applications here at LIHE. I am most looking forward to connecting budding entrepreneurs in this wonderful space to help create powerful collaborations with our academic experts, industry and partners, so as to drive research concepts into robust MedTech ventures of tomorrow.

As Venture Manager Dr Ekongefeyin, will ensure the smooth running of King’s MedTech Accelerator programme supporting innovators throughout the journey as they develop their ideas into products fit to serve the pressing healthcare needs of the NHS. He will be the fine thread connecting the participants with our partners, experts in residence, and the wider LIHE resources – ensuring every step of the journey has an actionable outcome.
Dr Ekongefeyin is a seasoned medical professional, digital health specialist, and med-entrepreneur dedicated to advancing healthcare innovation in MEDTECH and Digital Health.
With over five years of experience, he holds an MSc in Applied Digital Health from the University of Oxford and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
Joining LIHE, I’m thrilled to merge my clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology being developed in-house. Together with our team of experts, we’re poised to fast-track the creation of ground-breaking, user-focused innovations that will transform the landscape of healthcare.

I am very excited to be welcoming Dr Cameron-Pimblett and Dr Ekongefeyin onto the LIHE team. With their extensive experience working across healthcare and MedTech innovation, they will bring a breadth of knowledge to the growing LIHE team. They will both play a critical role in supporting MedTech innovations in their growth, and in their access to clinical and R&D resources from King’s and its partners.
