Free Pacemaker Checkup Camp at J.N. Medical College Hospital on April 24

Aligarh : The Department of Cardiology, J. N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will organise a free Pacemaker checkup camp on April 24, from 9 am onwards in the OPD number 14, to check the patients for device functioning and interrogate them and detect any possible problem.

Prof. Asif Hasan, Chairman of the department said that patients with pacemakers (single chamber/ dual chamber/ ICD/CRT) implanted at J.N. Medical College or any other hospital may register in advance and come on the day with proper records and documents.

He said the pacemakers / devices are reset according to programming parameters and battery replacement is suggested if battery depletion is detected.
