Tsevanyi Magsar, a famous graduate of the university, president of the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, came to the university to hand over the certificates.
“I am very happy to be here, close to such bright, talented, ambitious students. I am very happy that Mongolian students take great responsibility for their studies. It is for you that our foundation was created. Today, UrFU graduates are successfully working in various companies in Mongolia, and I am sure that you will become worthy successors of this wonderful tradition. Thank you for your excellent education. “Mongolia is a strategic partner of UrFU. We aim at mutually beneficial cooperation. Our university cooperates with Mongolian state-owned enterprises in various sectors of the economy, for which we train qualified, highly professional personnel. And, of course, I would like to address the scholarship holders. You have earned the right to receive scholarships by your attitude to your studies, perseverance, knowledge, and skills”, said Sergey Tushin.

“Today, for the fifth time, we are awarding scholarships to our best students from Mongolia. You are very lucky that your famous compatriots created such a fund in time. It certainly contributes to the development of the university’s relations with Mongolia and, in general, to the strengthening of relations between our countries. We at UrFU are very interested in increasing the number of students from Mongolia at UrFU. For this purpose, we are doing a lot to promote the Russian language in Mongolia”, said Alexander Ponomarev.
After the award ceremony, Tsevanyi Magsar talked with Mongolian students as part of the “Meetings at UrFU” project of the Alumni Association of UPI, USU and UrFU. He talked about his time as a student, his work experience after graduation, and answered their questions.
