AMU teacher delivers lecture on dentistry with robots
ALIGARH : Dr Shraddha Rathi, Department of Prosthodontics and Implantology, Dr Z.A. Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University presented a keynote lecture on “Navigating future dentistry through Robots” at the UP State Branch of Indian Prosthodontics Society at Moradabad.
In her lecture, Dr Rathi highlighted the significance of robotics in dentistry as an upcoming technique which will change the complete scenario of the dental health management in India. She said that with the help of Artificial intelligence (AI), robots are being used for placing dental implants, and the procedure being precise, time saving and causing less fatigue, is getting popular with every passing day.
“Now, patients’ medical and dental data could be preserved easily for future use and it will be a boon to Indian patients, while at the same time being at par with the dental implant technology popular in USA, Canada and China,” she added.
