ALIGARH  : Dr Sana Jameel, a postgraduate scholar in the Department of Niswan Wa Qabalat (Gynaecology and Obstetrics), Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University has developed a significant therapy aimed at “reducing postpartum belly fat” in women.

Dr Jameel said that she is in process of writing a thesis on this important issue that is a matter of concern for most of the women worldwide and “further clinical trials of this therapy will help her finalize her study with the fresh observations on patients”.

She urged the women, who have recently delivered and are concerned for reducing the belly fat, to consult her at the OPD No. 4 of the Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital on every Friday and Saturday.

She stated that postpartum belly fat is a common concern among women worldwide, and it often poses challenges to new mothers as they strive to regain their pre-pregnancy body shape. Recognizing this need, we have developed a specialized therapy that incorporates massage, fomentation, and targeted exercises, offering a holistic approach to postpartum recovery and body reshaping.
