IMIB Embraces New Talents: Welcoming PGDM Students Nationwide

IMI Bhubaneswar warmly welcomed a new batch of students from across the country in a grand ceremony. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Anuj Singh, MD and CEO of Spencer retail, RP Sanjib Goenka Group. The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Pratap C. Biswal, Director of IMI-B. Prof. Supriti Mishra, Dean of Academics, provided an insightful overview of IMI’s achievements.

Director Prof. Pratap Biswal motivated the new students to embrace three core principles: enjoying academic rigor, emphasizing campus learning, and upholding academic discipline. He emphasized IMI-B’s significant recognition in the academic landscape of the country, highlighting its prestigious ranking of 67th in the NIRF (Ministry of Education) and its international AMBA accreditation, along with NBA, NAAC accreditation, equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities, and membership in AACSB. IMI Bhubaneswar has also received recognition as the best emerging and best industry-linked institute in Eastern India.

Building on these insights, Chief Guest Mr. Anuj Singh shared ten lessons drawn from his personal reflections. He highlighted that joining IMI Bhubaneswar marks a defining moment that will shape students’ corporate careers over the next 25-30 years. He stressed the importance of being hungry for learning and putting in their best effort to succeed in the fast-moving economy. Mr. Singh’s address marked a significant milestone and set an inspiring tone for the students who have joined from across India at IMI Bhubaneswar.
