AMU Professor conducts FDP at USTM
ALIGARH : Prof. S.M. Khan, Department of Psychology, Aligarh Muslim University participated as the resource person in a week-long national level Faculty Development Programme (FDP)-cum-Training on the Application of Application of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for Data Analysis in Research which is being organized by the University of Science and Technology (USTM), Meghalaya from June 20-26, 2024.
Addressing the inaugural session of the FDP as the chief guest, Prof Khan shared insights into the application of SPSS in research, underscoring its practical benefits and widespread usage.
He said that the SPSS is a collection of data analysis software products primarily used for data analysis. It enables academics to study data to quickly understand the market demand for a product using the statistical information acquired, which helps them adjust their strategy accordingly.
The event also featured the release of two books authored by Dr Zulfiqar U. Siddiqui, Dr Panch Ramalingum, Ms. Punita Borpujari Deory, and Dr. Jerina Begum.
