Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran has been conferred with National Employability Award 2024, by leading global skills credentialing agency Aspiring Minds an SHL Company basis the performance of CGC’s students in AMCAT, India’s largest employability test. CGC Landran is among the top ten percent engineering campuses on the national level accorded with this award. AMCAT is a computer adaptive test which measures job applicants on parameters including their communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative skills, and job-specific domain skills thus helping recruiters identify a candidate’s suitability. 700+ companies including Accenture, Snapdeal, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, ITC, etc., use it as a compulsory testing mechanism for entry-level roles relying on AMCAT scores during hiring processes. Acclaimed for its impeccable placement record, CGC Landran is one among the only four other institutions from Punjab to have been awarded the honour.This year alone, CGC hosted more than 500 MNCs including companies from sectors including IT, Banking, Retail, Hospitality & Tourism, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Banking & Financial Management, among others during placement drives.
