DPS Jaipur’s Avalokit Singh: Indian Junior Squash Prodigy Gears Up for World Junior Championship
Rising from DPS Jaipur, Avalokit Singh readies to conquer the World Junior Squash Championship stage
In the heart of Jaipur, a city steeped in vibrant art and culture, DPS Jaipur student Avalokit has emerged as a beacon of sporting excellence. Avalokit’s journey into squash began at the tender age of eight under the watchful eye of his father, a distinguished curator, who recognized his son’s natural agility and passion for sports.
Under the direction of coach Surbhi Mishra, a renowned figure in Commonwealth and Asian Games teams, Avalokit swiftly ascended the ranks, securing top national and Asian rankings under 13 years old. His achievements include representing India thrice at the Asian Junior Championship, marking him as a formidable force in the international squash arena.
Despite a rigorous training regimen and frequent international competitions, Avalokit’s academic pursuits have been diligently supported by Delhi Public School (DPS), ensuring his continued success both on and off the court.
Beyond his sporting endeavors, Avalokit finds inspiration in Formula One and harbors aspirations in finance and diplomacy, illustrating a broad and ambitious vision for his future beyond sports. As he prepares to compete at the World Junior Championship in Houston, U.S. state of Texas, Avalokit carries with him the hopes of a nation and the dreams of a future ripe with promise and opportunity. His journey epitomizes the power of passion, perseverance, and unwavering support from family, school, and community.
