New Coordinator appointed for the Centre for Biomedical Engineering
ALIGARH : Prof Mohammad Muzammil, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed Coordinator, Centre for Biomedical Engineering for three years.
Prof Muzammil has been teaching and researching for over 36 years, focusing on Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Human Factor Engineering, Hand Tool Design, Human Noise and Vibration Control.
He has contributed more than 10 book chapters, 78 articles to national and international proceedings and published over 70 research papers in journals of national and international repute, including Quality Engineering, Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science, Occupational Ergonomics, Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics, Work: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment and Rehabilitation and Journal of Low-Frequency Noise, Vibration & Active Control, etc.
He has two patents to his credit and has been honoured with the IEOM Global Engineering Education Award by IEOM Society International, and the Young Researcher Awards at Humanizing Work and Work Environment (HWWE) Conferences in 2015 and 2017.
He is also the Chairman of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and has earlier served as the AMU Estate Officer, Member Incharge, Public Relations, Deputy Proctor and Provost, R.M. Hall.
