FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Chapter Hosts Talk Show on “Healthy Bones, Happy Life”

Dehradun : The FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Chapter organized a talk show on “Healthy Bones, Happy Life” at Hotel Red Fox, Rajpur Road, in Dehradun.

Dr. Jitendra Maheshwari, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon, author of best selling orthopaedics text book in India – Essential Orthopaedics, formerly Professor of orthopaedics at AIIMS New Delhi was the guest speaker.

He shared his extensive experience in the field of knee surgery. He stressed how with increasing life-span of an average Indian, the focus has shifted from long life to quality-of-life. He stressed how to remain active by maintaining healthy joints and bones. Knee replacement is an important development in keeping an elderly up and about till the very end his/her life. He discussed common myths associated with knee replacement.

Dr. Charu Chauhan, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Chapter, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Jitendra Maheshwari, renowned knee and shoulder specialist at Sitaram Bhartia Hospital, New Delhi, honored the chapter with his presence and shared his invaluable insights with FICCI FLO members.

The event was moderated by Dr. Charu Chauhan, Chairperson FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Chapter. On this occasion, the FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Chapter office bearer Dr. Maansi Rastogi Secretary, Harpreet Kaur Treasurer, Nisha Thakur, Joint treasurer, Gigi Pathak Joint Secretary and  FLO    members were also present.
