CGC Landran organises orientation ceremony for freshers
CGC Landran formally welcomed and inducted new students in the campus, through an orientation ceremony for the 24th academic session. The freshers accompanied by their parents and guardians were accorded a warm welcome by the faculty members. The fresh batch of students drawn from across the country are pursuing courses in Engineering, Business Management, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Hotel Management, among others.
The orientation session began with the lamp lighting ceremony invoking the blessings of the almighty. Welcoming the fresh batches of students, Dr. P.N. Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran, assured them of CGC’s commitment towards their career progression by providing the best of academic experience and opportunities for their overall personality development. Highlighting CGC’s legacy of excellent placements, year on year, he reiterated the institution’s intent to reinforce the same through industry collaborations, inculcating research, innovation & entrepreneurial outlook among students. He concluded his remarks by extending his best wishes to the students for the new session. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, also extended their best wishes to the students for a bright future.
The orientation sessions further saw the new students being acquainted with the significant aspects of college life including the curriculum, attendance requirements, student achievements, campus placements, international alliances, research and innovation among others. Students from Indian states including, Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Assam, and others, are commencing their studies at CGC Landran under the new academic session 2024.
